In the afternoon of February 9, the Military Command (CHQS) of Da Nang city organized a conference to assign the task of fireworks display for the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026. Colonel Tran Quang Chanh, Deputy Commander cum Chief of Staff of the City Military Command, chaired the deployment of tasks to relevant agencies and units.

According to the plan, on New Year's Eve this year, Da Nang city will organize fireworks displays at 6 locations including: Fireworks location 1. Hoa Khanh Ward People's Committee area (land area belonging to Kim Long Nam project, opposite the East of Hoa Khanh Ward People's Committee); Fireworks location 2. Bach Dang Street, Hoa Cuong Ward; Fireworks location 3. Western Ring Road Resettlement Area, Duong Lam 1 village, Hoa Vang commune; Fireworks location 4. Con Bap Tourist Area, Xuyen Trung village, Hoi An ward; Fireworks location 5. 24/3 Square, Hung Vuong street, Ban Thach ward; Fireworks location 6. Nui Thanh Square, Nui Thanh commune.
The City Military Command is assigned the task of coordinating with departments, agencies, branches, and localities to organize the implementation; and at the same time assign forces and vehicles to ensure sufficient facilities and techniques at the firing positions.

At the conference, specialized agencies reported on the coordination plan, battlefield preparation, transportation, and preservation of fireworks, plans to ensure security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, rescue and relief, military medical work, ensuring strictness and synchronization, and preventing errors in the process of organization and implementation.
Leaders of the City Military Command requested agencies and units to strictly grasp the plan of the City Military Command and the direction of the City People's Committee; identifying this as an important political task at the beginning of the year, contributing to creating a joyful and excited atmosphere among the people during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.
Leaders of the Military Command emphasized that each department must uphold the spirit of responsibility, organize thorough field surveys, and closely coordinate with the police, medical, fire prevention and fighting forces... and local authorities to ensure the best preparation work.
In addition, it is necessary to strengthen the guard force, absolutely protect the safety of the firing area; strictly control unmanned aerial vehicles, ultralight aircraft and factors that may affect fireworks shooting safety, and fully prepare plans to handle arising situations, not to be passive or surprised.
Organizing fireworks displays on New Year's Eve ensures absolute safety for people and weapons and equipment, contributing to bringing people a joyful, safe and meaningful New Year's Eve.
