30 grassroots trade unions established
On July 21, at the headquarters of the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation (Dien Hong ward), Emulation Cluster No. 2, including Trade Unions of Dien Hong, Pleiku, Thong Nhat, An Phu, An Khe and Ayun Pa wards, organized a conference to summarize trade union activities in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.
In the first 6 months of the year, units in the Cluster have proactively and synchronously implemented key tasks and achieved many positive results.
As of June 30, 2026, the entire Cluster manages 303 grassroots trade unions with 17,459 union members; newly admitted 1,696 union members, established 30 new grassroots trade unions and introduced 178 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration and training, of which 27 union members were admitted to the Party.
The work of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers continues to be concerned.

The entire Cluster has organized health check-ups and consultations for 534 turns of union members; cared for 4,332 turns of union members and workers during the Lunar New Year with a total budget of more than 2.197 billion VND.
Launch spreading movements
In particular, patriotic emulation movements and creative labor were widely deployed with 377 initiatives and solutions registered and applied in practice, contributing to improving the quality and efficiency of trade union activities at the grassroots level.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and evaluating the achieved results; and pointed out difficulties and obstacles in the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, trade union activities in non-state enterprises, the application of digital transformation and improving the quality of grassroots trade union activities.

Delegates also proposed many solutions to continue innovating the content and methods of operation; strengthening the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; promoting emulation movements and replicating effective models and practices throughout the Cluster.
On this occasion, units in Emulation Cluster No. 2 participated in a seminar with the theme: "Each unit has an initiative - Together improving the quality of ward trade union activities".
Delegates shared many experiences, models and good practices in innovating operating methods in the direction of putting union members and workers at the center; building harmonious and stable labor relations. Through this, many practical initiatives and solutions have been proposed to continue improving the quality of trade union activities in the coming time.
