On May 8, the Hai Chau District Labor Federation, Da Nang City, announced that the unit had issued a Plan to organize activities for Workers' Month and Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH) in 2025.
With the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneered the new era", this year's working month will focus on key programs: "Creative workers, firmly enter the new era"; "May dialogue" and the forum "Party with workers - workers with the Party"; "Thanks to the employee"; "The peak month of developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions; introducing the development of party members"; and "Propagating and raising the awareness of union members and workers".
Hai Chau District Labor Federation will organize initiative competitions, technical improvements; dialogues between leaders and workers; visits and gifts for workers in difficult circumstances; organize cultural and sports activities; promote the development of union members, establish grassroots unions; and disseminate labor laws and social insurance. In particular, this unit also encourages grassroots unions to organize at least one activity to care for union members' welfare during Workers' Month and will include this content in the year-end emulation scoring criteria.
The Labor Union of Hai Chau District also sets the goal of striving to have at least 60% of grassroots trade unions in enterprises and 50% of grassroots trade unions in administrative and non -business agencies in response to workers' month. It includes key activities such as the launching ceremony of workers and the month of OSH, Bi-A and Badminton Prize to officials and employees, visiting gifts to difficult workers, building "Trade Union" houses, organizing legal propaganda classes, and striving to develop 10 more grassroots trade unions.
According to Mr. Lu Trong Phuong, Chairman of Hai Chau District Labor Federation, the organization of working months in 2025 and responding to the Month of OSH Action Month to create a peak of communication, raise awareness and compliance with the law on OSH for employees and employers. At the same time, promoting specific solutions and action programs on prevention of occupational accidents, occupational diseases, improving working conditions, launching emulation, building labor safety culture, promoting mass movements to do OSH, contributing to building a safe culture at work.
Mr. Lu Trong Phuong also added that the working month of 2025 will affirm the role, position and contribution of the working class in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; is the pioneer in the cause of the country's renewal, creative labor, confidently entering the new era - the era of the nation's stretching. Raising the awareness and responsibility of the whole society in taking care of, protecting the legitimate and legitimate rights and interests, improving the living and working conditions of workers, honoring and promoting workers in the new development period of the country.
