News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on January 14 said: implementing the policy of caring for and expressing gratitude to families with meritorious services to the revolution, the City Labor Federation has organized the launch of affiliated grassroots trade unions to participate in registering to receive support for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
Responding to the launch, with a sense of responsibility and affection, to date, 38 grassroots trade unions directly under the City Labor Federation have registered to support 44 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers with support levels of 1 million VND to 1.5 million VND/month.
The registration is carried out on a voluntary basis, showing the concern and sharing of union members and workers for Mothers in difficult and lonely circumstances.
The activity of caring for Heroic Vietnamese Mothers not only contributes to caring for the material and spiritual life of Mothers, but is also a work with profound humanistic meaning, contributing to educating patriotism and gratitude to the previous generation among union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers.
Thereby, continuing to promote the tradition of the moral principle "When drinking water, remember the source", affirming the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in the work of gratitude and gratitude for the great sacrifices of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the cause of national liberation and reunification.
According to information from the Da Nang City Department of Home Affairs, there are currently 299 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers still alive in the city.
