This activity is organized in the context of increasingly strict and transparent trade union financial management requirements, aiming to improve the capacity to perform tasks at commune and ward trade unions.
Attending the conference were officials in charge of finance and accounting, trade union accounting, commune and ward trade union treasury officers, along with officials from the finance department and trade union capital support fund.
This is the force directly implementing the management of revenue and expenditure, assets and financial resources to serve trade union activities at the grassroots level.
At the conference, Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong, Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, said that finance is one of the decisive factors in the effective operation of the Trade Union organization.
According to Ms. Huong, when financial work is carried out in accordance with regulations, publicly and transparently, the Trade Union organization will have conditions to better care for union members and workers, while building trust from the grassroots level.
Ms. Huong emphasized that the Standing Committee's concern to organize training classes is not only aimed at equipping professional knowledge but also shows the responsibility to accompany and support grassroots officials in the process of performing tasks.
I hope that through this training class, you will have full knowledge and skills, thereby being more proactive in your work and effectively implementing the regulations of the Trade Union organization," Ms. Huong said.
Practical work training
At the training session, officials in charge of finance, accounting, trade union accounting, and commune and ward trade union treasury officers, along with officials from the finance department and trade union capital support fund, were exchanged by Ms. Le Thao Huyen Trang, specialist of the Capital Support Fund for workers, civil servants, and laborers, about the legal basis and principles of trade union finance.
In addition, regulations related to revenue and expenditure, financial management and trade union assets are also presented clearly, associated with practical requirements.
Another key content is guiding the preparation of finalization reports and the use of VCS accounting software. Thereby, helping grassroots officials more conveniently manage data, while improving accuracy and synchronization in summarizing and reporting.
After the training session, Ms. Ha, a grassroots trade union official, shared that the training class was organized methodically and thoughtfully. The training content is close to the actual work, helping her and everyone better understand their responsibilities in trade union financial management.
Through the training session, I understand more clearly the regulations on trade union finance and how to use accounting software. Specific instructions help me feel more confident when doing work," Ms. Ha said.
