Recently, Dien Bien Power Company organized the 2026 Employee Conference with the participation of more than 105 delegates, representing more than 530 officials and employees of the Company.
The conference agreed on production and business targets, and at the same time proposed many solutions to best ensure the rights and welfare regime for workers.
Notably, Dien Bien Power Company sets a goal of "comprehensive digital transformation". The company identifies artificial intelligence (AI) technology as an "extended arm" in all aspects of work.
The application of AI is expected to help liberate manual labor, reduce heavy work pressure, and optimize the management and operation process of the power grid.

Mr. Tran Duc Dung - Director of Dien Bien Power Company emphasized: "The company always identifies occupational safety and health as the top important factor in the sustainable development strategy, and at the same time as a foundation to bring happiness to each official, employee and family.
According to Mr. Dung, in the context that the dry season power grid requires high concentration, the Company has directed the entire system to seriously implement technical solutions and operating procedures, ensuring absolute safety for workers and equipment.
Dien Bien Electricity has been and is synchronously deploying a multi-layered safety monitoring system, closely combining direct inspection and remote monitoring forms.
In addition to maintaining strict on-site inspection by professional teams and a network of safety and hygiene workers, the Company promotes the application of technology in safety management through direct image control from working sessions.
Data from smart recording devices at the scene is transmitted online through the monitoring system (ECP) to the Safety Department and unit leaders for timely monitoring and direction.
Diversifying this control method not only helps identify and prevent unsafe risks early, but also contributes to tightening discipline and raising the awareness of self-discipline in complying with safety procedures and technical regulations of workers.

In 2026, leaders of the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation said that they strive for at least 80% of units and enterprises with trade union organizations meeting the conditions according to the provisions of law to negotiate and sign collective labor agreements.
Along with that, 100% of agencies and units organize conferences of cadres and civil servants; at least 85% of grassroots trade unions of enterprises are eligible to organize employee conferences.
In particular, in the second quarter of 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation will coordinate to organize the Launching Ceremony of "Workers' Month" and respond to Occupational Safety and Health, Fire and Explosion Prevention.
The Trade Union organization will focus on direct care activities such as: Visiting and giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, victims of work accidents and occupational diseases; and providing practical "Trade Union Shelter" support to workers directly involved in production.
