With the desire to practically care for the cultural, spiritual and material life of young workers - the direct labor force in industrial parks and enterprises in the area, the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union has implemented many programs and activities to accompany young workers.
Thereby, not only promoting the role of the Youth Union - Association but also actively contributing to ensuring social security, building a civilized and healthy working environment.
Taking care of the lives of union members and young workers is always a key task by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Youth Union of Hai Duong Province. From the general orientation, all levels of the Union and Associations in the whole province have built many practical and flexible support models in accordance with the needs and circumstances of young workers.
Specific activities not only demonstrate the concern of the organization but also create motivation for young workers to be more attached to the enterprise, improve labor quality and production efficiency.
Responding to Workers' Month and celebrating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1990 - May 19, 2025), in Kim Thanh district, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union organized the 2025 Workers' Youth Festival with many meaningful activities such as: free health check-ups, consultations; free haircuts; sports exchange such as tug of war, volleyball, pickleball...
These activities not only help young workers improve their health and improve their spiritual life but also create a space for exchange and connection between units and enterprises.
Talking to Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh - Secretary of Kim Thanh District Youth Union said that caring for young workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, is always valued by the Provincial Youth Union and the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union.
"The organization of the District Youth Union's activities has received strong support from a large number of young workers. This not only demonstrates the active and proactive participation of the young workforce, but also affirms the connection between the Youth Union organization and workers in building a healthy and rich working environment of community.
However, due to the nature of the work and the long working time at companies and industrial parks, the time for workers to participate in activities is still limited" - Ms. Anh said.
Ms. Pham Thi Hong Nhung (23 years old), working at a factory in Ai Quoc ward (Hai Duong city), shared: "I am from another province coming to Hai Duong to work, so at first there were many surprises. But thanks to participating in the activities of the Youth Union, I have more friends, support in difficult times and feel closer to my workplace. Small activities but very meaningful for workers like us".
With a methodical and practical approach, activities to care for young workers in Hai Duong are increasingly going into depth, creating a positive mark in the business community and society.
This is also a vivid testament to the spirit of accompanying young people to start a business, contributing to building quality young human resources, contributing to the sustainable development of the province.
