On January 19, the Trade Union of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones announced that the unit had just organized the donation of Trade Union Shelters to union members with difficult housing circumstances in the area.
Attending the award ceremony was Permanent Vice President of Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) Huynh Thi Hien.
At the ceremony, Ms. Huynh Thi Hien presented the Decision on handing over the Trade Union Shelter supported by the Management Board of the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund branch in Can Tho to union member Nguyen Thi Huan (born in 1975).
The Can Tho City Labor Federation has supported the construction of a house for Ms. Nguyen Thi Huan, currently a union member at the Can Tho Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company. Ms. Huan has a difficult family situation, is taking care of her elderly father and is not married.
After a period of construction, the house has now been completed, with an area of 75 square meters. Of which, the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund supported 50 million VND.
Permanent Vice President of Can Tho City Labor Federation Huynh Thi Hien shared the joy, congratulated and encouraged the family of union member Nguyen Thi Huan to rise up and work with peace of mind in the coming time.
Delighted to be supported in building the Trade Union Shelter, union member Nguyen Thi Huan expressed her sincere thanks to the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund in Can Tho and the Trade Union organizations at all levels for helping her family have a spacious house before the New Year.
