Attending the program was Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation.
At the program, 100 union members and workers in difficult circumstances belonging to the Yen Bai and Au Lau Ward Trade Unions, the Trade Union Board of Industrial Parks, along with 100 poor and near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances, and people with severe disabilities in Mau A commune were personally presented with meaningful Tet gifts, each worth 1.3 million VND.
The gifts are not only of material value but also a source of spiritual encouragement, helping union members, workers and families alleviate difficulties, add joy and warmth when Tet comes, Spring returns.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long affirmed that the Party and State always pay special attention to people with meritorious services, policy families, poor households, union members, and workers in difficult circumstances, especially during the Lunar New Year, with the goal that everyone and every household will have a warm and fulfilling Tet.
Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, central mass organizations sent New Year greetings to union members, workers and families, and at the same time wished the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation to continue to promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; effectively implement social security programs, especially taking care of Tet for union members and workers in difficult circumstances and vulnerable groups.
Thereby, contributing to adding faith and motivation for union members and workers to feel secure in working, producing, and long-term attachment to businesses and trade union organizations, joining hands to build an increasingly developed homeland.
