Therefore, responding to the voluntary blood donation movement in 2026 launched by the City Steering Committee is not only a task, but also an order from the heart of each official, union member, and worker, contributing to creating a widespread beauty of blood donation culture in life.
To ensure that the voluntary blood donation campaign achieves practical effectiveness and widespread spread, the Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation proposed to proactively coordinate closely with heads of agencies and units to mobilize a large number of workers with sufficient health to actively participate in blood donation, determined to complete and exceed the assigned targets. Fully and thoughtfully implement the preferential treatment regimes according to regulations, from on-site health care, post-donation counseling to the issuance of certificates and timely honoring and rewarding outstanding examples. In addition, the target of participating in voluntary blood donation will be considered one of the important criteria for evaluating and ranking emulation and commendation at all levels.
Mr. Do Van Hoan (48 years old) - a trade union member of Co Do Agriculture Company - shared that he has participated in voluntary blood donation many times and is always ready to respond whenever the locality or trade union launches it.

Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hien - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Policy and Law and Labor Relations Department of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - happily shared that she had successfully donated blood after times of not being eligible to do so.
I really hope to contribute a small part of the blood source to help patients. When I know I am eligible to donate blood, I am very happy and excited. I hope each person contributes a little and more patients will be saved" - Ms. Hien expressed.
