The festival took place at the People's Committee of Ca Mau province with the theme "80 years of compassionate journey for the community". Attending and directly donating blood were Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ca Mau province; Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and many provincial, department, branch and local leaders.
The direct participation of provincial leaders in blood donation has created a positive spread, encouraging the spirit of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers to respond to the voluntary blood donation movement.

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province - said that the voluntary blood donation movement in the past time has received strong response from officials, armed forces, youth union members and people in the province. Thousands of units of blood received have made an important contribution to the emergency and treatment of patients.
According to Mr. Khoi, in addition to implementing social security activities and caring for people in difficult circumstances, humanitarian blood donation also has profound humanitarian meaning when it contributes to giving more life opportunities to many patients who need blood transfusions.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province will continue to promote propaganda and mobilize officials, civil servants, public employees, and laborers to participate in voluntary blood donation, spreading the message that each drop of blood given is a hope given back," Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi shared.

In the blood reception area, the organization was scientifically arranged, and volunteers provided enthusiastic support, helping the health check-up, registration and blood collection process to take place quickly and safely.
According to the Organizing Committee, the festival received nearly 300 units of blood, exceeding the initial plan. This result shows the spirit of responsibility and sharing for the community of officials, civil servants and local people.
Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Red Cross Society Ho Quy Nhi said that in the first 4 months of 2026, the whole province received more than 5,500 units of blood. In the coming time, the Provincial Red Cross Society will continue to coordinate with departments, branches, and localities to build a widespread blood donation mobilization network, and at the same time strengthen the application of technology and social networks to spread beautiful stories and typical examples in the voluntary blood donation movement.
