Attending were Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City; Mr. Tong Van Bang - Head of the Labor Relations Department, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the program, 100 gifts were presented to union members and workers of 4 ward trade unions: Thuan Hoa, An Cuu, Vy Da and Phu Xuan. Among them, 59 gifts from Party and State leaders and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, each gift including 2 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300 thousand VND; 41 gifts from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, each gift including 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300 thousand VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, leaders of Hue City Labor Federation said that the gifts are aimed at sharing difficulties, encouraging union members and workers to celebrate a warm Tet and feel secure in their work.
