In the third quarter of 2025, the job market in Hanoi and neighboring provinces is heating up every day.

Red eyes looking for workers

According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters at the Hanoi Employment Service Center (DVVL), the recruitment atmosphere in the first days of the third quarter has become vibrant again. On average, each job fair brings together nearly 100 businesses, not only in Hanoi but also connecting online with 6 neighboring provinces such as Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen.

The flexible combination of two forms of direct and online recruitment has brought tens of thousands of diverse job opportunities, meeting the needs of many workers.

As one of the units with a large recruitment demand, Golden Gate Group Joint Stock Company said that it needs to add about 100 personnel in the third quarter.

Sharing with reporters, Ms. Nguyen Khanh Vy - Head of the company's recruitment department - said: "With a system of more than 100 restaurants in Hanoi alone, our human resource needs are always high. The positions are mainly waiters and kitchen assistants, without requiring complex experience".

According to Ms. Vy, the kitchen assistant is mainly pre-processed in the refrigerated kitchen area, while the servers will record orders and take care of customers. This is an opportunity for many workers of different ages.

Not only Golden Gate, many other businesses in the fields of trade, services, and retail are also stepping up the search for sales staff, sales staff... to prepare for the upcoming shopping and year-end festival season.

Unskilled labor, production workers become hot spots

Looking at the overall picture, it can be seen that the recruitment demand of the market is strongly focusing on the unskilled labor group and production workers. Explaining this trend, Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center - said that this is the period when businesses enter a period of "accelerating" production, preparing goods to serve the market at the end of the year.

The third quarter is the time when businesses, especially in the manufacturing industry, step up operations to complete large orders. Therefore, the demand for recruiting direct production workers and manual laborers in the provinces has increased significantly. "Hot" sectors include textiles, footwear, and food processing. At the same time, the trade - service sector also maintains a stable recruitment momentum to ensure service quality during the peak period," Mr. Thanh analyzed.

The increase in human resource needs not only solves the problem of labor shortage for businesses but also opens up many positive signals. This is a golden opportunity for workers who are looking for a job or want to change jobs to find a stable position with guaranteed income. The recovery and growth of the labor market in the third quarter are creating a solid foundation, promising a prosperous end of the year for both businesses and workers.
