An Giang - Recruitment demand is still high, businesses register to recruit thousands more workers to work.

According to the summary of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation, as of August 30, 2026, 91 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) of enterprises sent information, with a total of 38,774 employees (NLĐ). Average income at 73 units has data reaching about 7.6 million VND/person/month; the highest level is about 24.5 million VND and the lowest is 4.5 million VND.

The highlight is that recruitment demand is still high. There are 27 businesses registering to recruit an additional 6,126 workers. Among them, An Giang Samho Co., Ltd. needs about 2,000 people; Universal Apparel Co., Ltd. needs 1,200 people; TBS An Giang Joint Stock Company and Branch 4 each need about 1,000 people. Many other businesses are also continuing to recruit.

According to the Provincial Labor Federation, more than 6,000 recruitment positions show that in businesses with orders, the current problem is not necessarily a lack of jobs but a lack of labor, especially skilled labor. This is an opportunity for workers to find stable jobs in the locality.

At TBS An Giang Joint Stock Company, orders for shoes and handbags for two major markets, Europe and North America, are maintained until the end of the year. The enterprise continues to need about 1,000 workers.

Universal Apparel Co., Ltd. is operating at about 85% capacity; a part of the order for the next phase has been confirmed and the business expects to continue receiving more orders. With the need to recruit 1,200 workers, the main difficulty is not recruiting enough manpower. At Spectre An Giang Vietnam Garment Technology Co., Ltd., the order is fully and stably assessed until the end of the year, but the need to export goods urgently makes it difficult to recruit skilled workers.

A noteworthy point is that labor relations at enterprises are basically harmonious. Employee ideology is generally stable, and they are assured to work; many enterprises maintain jobs, pay salaries on time, and implement regimes and policies according to regulations.

During the National Day holiday, most businesses arrange for employees to take 2 to 5 days off, depending on the specifics of production and business. Units that must maintain continuous operation are arranged to work in shifts, then compensate for leave and implement salary regimes according to regulations. There are 38 businesses that reward money to employees, the highest level is equivalent to one month's actual salary, the lowest is 100,000 VND/person. 13 grassroots trade unions also support union members from 50,000 to 500,000 VND/person.

Mr. Do Tran Thinh, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation, said that labor relations in the area are currently basically stable; jobs and incomes of most workers are maintained, they are assured to work, and businesses are concerned about ensuring their rights. According to him, in the context of market fluctuations, Trade Unions need to continue to closely follow grassroots levels, proactively grasp thoughts and aspirations, coordinate to solve problems arising early, from the grassroots level; accompany businesses to keep jobs.

Reality in An Giang shows that harmonious labor relations are not only measured by no disputes but also start from stable jobs, guaranteed income, care policies and substantive dialogue.

From now until the end of the year, many businesses have orders and are recruiting, creating a basis for the labor market to continue to maintain a stable pace. The requirement is to improve the quality of human resources, especially skilled workers. Trade unions need to continue to act as a bridge, firmly grasp the grassroots and promote dialogue and sharing with businesses and workers.
