Accordingly, implementing the coordination program between the Vietnam Transport Trade Union and the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Confederation for the period 2024 - 2028, the representative of the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Confederation presented 40 million VND to support the construction of a "Union Shelter" house for the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan (Hamlet 3C, Khanh Nhac Commune, Yen Khanh District, Ninh Binh Province).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan is currently a member of the Trade Union of Chung Jye Ninh Binh Shoe Manufacturing Company Limited (in Khanh Nhac Industrial Cluster, Khanh Nhac Commune, Yen Khanh, Ninh Binh Province).
Ms. Lan’s family is near-poor and their economic situation is very difficult. Her husband is seriously ill and unable to work. Meanwhile, for many years now, the house where they live has seriously deteriorated and is unsafe.
After surveying and understanding the actual situation, the Company's Trade Union proposed that the Trade Union at all levels complete procedures to support the construction of a "Trade Union Shelter" house for Ms. Lan's family.
With the financial support from trade unions at all levels and the Khanh Nhac Social Security and Gratitude Fund, along with the support and help of relatives... Ms. Lan's family was able to build a new, spacious house.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan shared, thanks to the help of the trade unions at all levels, my family has a new house to stabilize our lives and work with peace of mind. This is a great source of encouragement for me to feel secure, continue to work well, complete the assigned tasks and take care of and raise my children to be obedient and good students.
The new spring is coming, bringing with it much joy and hope. That joy seems to be multiplied when Lan's family can enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet in their new house.
"Union Shelter" here not only realizes the dreams of union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances but also motivates them to strive harder in life.
