According to the City People's Committee, the organization of periodic health check-ups or free screening for people in Dong Nai city according to an appropriate roadmap; gradually moving towards managing the health of the entire population according to the life cycle; early detection of diseases, improving the quality of primary health care, building a synchronous population health data system, serving the development of modern, civilized, and livable Dong Nai city.
Strive to ensure that by the end of 2026, 100% of people in Dong Nai city will have periodic health check-ups or free screenings at least once a year and maintain them in the following years...
Subjects for periodic health check-ups or free screening are divided into 7 groups.
In which, the group of workers working under labor contracts; probationary workers; vocational learners and trainees to work for employers; officials, civil servants, and public employees with the largest number of more than 2 million people, with a budget of more than 730 billion VND.
The City People's Committee requests agencies, units, and localities to review and compile a list of subjects; and at the same time develop a plan to organize examinations, prepare human resources, facilities, supplies, and equipment to be completed before June 30, 2026.
The implementation of organizing free periodic health check-ups according to the roadmap; summarizing health check-up results and managing people's health on a digital platform, implementation time from July 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
The total estimated cost for the whole city is more than 1,348 billion VND.
According to statistics, the total population in Dong Nai city is nearly 5 million people.
Dong Nai City People's Committee requests the City Labor Federation to direct trade union levels to coordinate with employers to propagate, mobilize, and create conditions for union members and workers to participate in periodic health check-ups and free screenings; strengthen supervision of the implementation of health check-up regimes, occupational disease detection check-ups, and promptly propose handling violations, ensuring the health care rights of workers, especially in industrial parks, industrial clusters and high-risk labor groups.
