On the morning of February 14th, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) coordinated with the Trade Union and the Board of Directors of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SEV) to organize the program "Car ride accompanying union members and workers", bringing nearly 700 union members and workers home to reunite with their families.
At the program, the Organizing Committee prepared 15 high-quality bus trips to support workers in remote provinces. This is an annual activity imbued with humanity, helping workers reduce worries about trains and buses, ensuring a safe and convenient journey home.
At the send-off ceremony for workers, leaders of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, the Board of Directors and the Company's Trade Union were directly present to visit, encourage and hand over lucky red envelopes, wishing employees a new year of peace and prosperity.
Ms. Nguyen Hong Hanh - a company union member - shared: "A few days before Tet, booking passenger car tickets is very difficult and the prices are expensive. Being supported by the company and the Trade Union with a bus trip to my hometown, and also receiving gifts and lucky money, I feel very touched. This concern helps us feel more secure, feel respected and have more motivation to stick with the company for a long time.
Mr. Lai Hoang Dung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. - affirmed: "Organizing bus trips to pick up and drop off workers is not only a responsibility but also the feelings of the business and the Trade Union organization for the staff. We hope that all union members will have a warm and complete Tet with their loved ones. This is also the Trade Union's effort in performing well the function of caring for, protecting the rights and improving the spiritual life of workers".
The program "Car ride accompanying union members and workers" at Samsung Electronics Vietnam is one of the highlights in the series of activities "Tet Sum vay - Spring sharing" of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation. This activity contributes to affirming the role of the Trade Union organization accompanying businesses in caring for welfare, building harmonious and sustainable labor relations.
