By 10 am on February 14 (December 27th of the lunar calendar), the scene of the chain traffic accident on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway had been cleared by functional forces, and traffic through the area returned to normal.
Initial information, late on February 13, on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway (section from Ho Chi Minh City to Dak Lak), a chain collision occurred between at least 4 vehicles, including a passenger car and a car.

At the scene, the front of a passenger car was heavily damaged, the glass was broken and deformed.
Behind, a car was crushed in the rear due to being hit by another passenger car. Damaged vehicles blocked part of the lane, causing traffic through the area to encounter many difficulties.
Fortunately, the accident did not cause any casualties.
According to the traffic police force, at the time of the accident, the traffic volume on the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway increased sharply, especially during the Tet holiday, leading to prolonged traffic jams for many hours afterwards.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces were present to divert traffic, regulate traffic and handle the scene. By 9 am on February 14, the vehicles involved in the accident were relocated and traffic was restored.
Traffic police recommend that at the end of the year, when travel demand increases sharply, drivers need to strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; maintain safe distance, not speeding, not overtaking recklessly, not encroaching on lanes to limit the risk of accidents.
