Listening to workers' opinions
A noteworthy point is that propaganda work is not only limited to slogans or administrative dissemination documents, but is implemented by the Capital Trade Union levels in the direction of putting workers at the center - bringing political information to the right audience, at the right time and in the right way suitable for modern working life.
The working delegation of the Hanoi City Labor Federation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President of the City Labor Federation directly went to businesses in Tay Phuong, Thach That, Yen Xuan and Hoa Lac communes to survey the election propaganda work among workers.
Not only inspecting the implementation of tasks, the working delegation spent a lot of time talking and listening to workers' opinions on awareness, psychology and preparation before the election day. This meaningful action clearly shows the role of the Trade Union not only as a unit implementing political tasks but also as an organization accompanying and understanding workers.
At Binh Phu Steel Structure Joint Stock Company, the delegation attended a seminar to introduce candidates for National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term organized by Tay Phuong Commune Trade Union. The conference atmosphere was democratic and open, with the active participation of workers.
Information about biographies, working processes and action programs of candidates is fully introduced, helping workers have a basis for research and objective evaluation before choosing. Many workers shared that through activities organized by the Trade Union, they understand more deeply the meaning of the ballot - not only a citizen's obligation but also their right to mastery over the development of the country and the locality.
According to Mr. Le Tien Canh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Binh Phu Steel Structure Joint Stock Company, all 89 workers of the enterprise have been issued voter cards and full information about the election has been disseminated. Although the enterprise still maintains production on Sunday to ensure order progress, the leadership and grassroots trade union have developed flexible shift arrangement plans for employees to participate in voting fully.
Early election, full election, responsible election
At Jean Viet Production and Trading Co., Ltd. (Thach That commune), the working delegation directly went to the production workshop, met and encouraged workers to actively participate in the election. Many workers said that they had proactively learned information about candidates and were ready to participate in voting early.
Meanwhile, at Hanwha Aero Engines Co., Ltd. (Hoa Lac commune), Mr. Nguyen Van Song - Chairman of the company's Trade Union - said that all 683 workers have been propagated through many modern forms such as video clips, infographics, direct communication at the dining hall and trade union meetings. The atmosphere of preparation for election day spreads in each workshop with the spirit of "going to vote early, voting enough, voting responsibly".
Speaking at the working sessions, Vice Chairman of Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy emphasized that trade union members and workers need to promote civic responsibility, actively participate in elections, contributing to the overall success of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels.
Grassroots trade unions are required to assign officials to closely monitor the situation, coordinate with the government and professional departments at the same level to guide the voting process, answer questions and support workers to exercise their voting rights in accordance with regulations. This is not only a political task but also demonstrates the social responsibility of the Trade Union in consolidating the great national unity bloc.
