Ca Mau province has 5 units to elect National Assembly deputies, electing 13 deputies; 18 units to elect Provincial People's Council deputies, electing 73 deputies. For the commune level, there are 485 units to elect People's Council deputies, with a total of 1,469 deputies elected.
The list of electoral units and the number of delegates elected in each unit have been announced by the Election Committees at all levels in accordance with regulations. In addition, the province has identified 1,604 voting areas to serve the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term in 64/64 communes and wards throughout the province.
After 3 rounds of consultation, the province has agreed on the list of 23 candidates for the 16th National Assembly (including 5 people introduced by the Central Government and 18 people introduced by localities). For the Provincial People's Council, the official list of qualified candidates is 127 people to elect 73 delegates.

At the commune level, after the 3rd consultation, a list of 2,482 candidates was made to elect 1,469 delegates in 64 communes and wards in the province. By March 10, National Assembly deputy candidates had contacted 33 meetings, with 4,740 participants, with 160 voter opinions; provincial People's Council deputy candidates had contacted 86 meetings, with 7,855 attendees, with 252 voter opinions. Commune-level People's Council deputy candidates also had meetings with voters according to regulations.
The political system and mass organizations organized over 1,300 - 1,500 propaganda sessions, with more than 32,000 - 34,000 participants; the grassroots broadcasting system with 868 loudspeaker clusters broadcasting more than 760 news and articles serving the election.
Visual propaganda work was promoted with 1,100 provincial-level banners, many propaganda panels and models; commune level hung 1,740 horizontal banners, 11,500 vertical banners, 580 panel clusters and 68,500 flags, creating a joyful atmosphere, spreading widely before the election day.

The Ca Mau Provincial Election Commission has requested opinions and the National Election Council has agreed to organize early voting at Hon Khoai and Hon Chuoi island clusters on March 13, 2026. This morning, these two units completed the election work.
Voter lists were made and posted in accordance with regulations at 1,604 polling stations, with 1,875,579 voters after review and update. The Election Teams proactively prepared facilities, decorated polling stations, posted lists and fully prepared documents and conditions to serve the election day.
Up to now, the tasks of preparing for elections in Ca Mau province have basically been completed according to the plan and regulations of law. Leadership and direction work has been implemented uniformly; coordination between agencies and units has been carried out closely; propaganda work has been promoted; conditions for serving elections have been carefully prepared. In general, Ca Mau province is ready for election day March 15, 2026.
