On January 12, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Soc Trang province organized the opening ceremony of the sports festival "Tet sum vay, Xuan ung deo deo deo" to celebrate the Party and the Spring of At Ty year 2025.
The sports festival had nearly 500 athletes who were union members from 12 trade unions under the Soc Trang Industrial Park Trade Union. The teams competed in men's mini soccer; billiards; spinning and kicking the ball; skipping rope; and passing the lemon.
Mr. Phan Tan Phong - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Zones of Soc Trang province - said that the sports festival aims to practically take care of the spiritual life activities of union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. This is also an opportunity for union officials, union members and workers to meet, exchange, learn and share experiences in the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and union activities in the coming time. Create a joyful, warm, constructive atmosphere, solidarity and attachment between union members and workers with the union organization and agencies, units and enterprises.
Mr. Phong informed that after Lunar New Year 2025, he will coordinate with the affiliated Trade Unions to organize a football tournament for female union members to celebrate International Women's Day, March 8.
