The contest is organized to practically achieve achievements to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), Party Congresses at all levels and contribute to enriching the activities of celebrating the Spring of At Ty 2025 in the city.
In her opening speech, Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Civil Servants' Union Nguyen Thi Dieu Hien said that the contest is a healthy and useful playground to promote the artistic talents of union members, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
Through the contest, union members, civil servants and employees can entertain and relax after stressful working days. This is also an opportunity for union members, civil servants and employees to meet, exchange and learn from each other's experiences. Thereby, discovering talents that are the core of the cultural and artistic movement, contributing to the development and improvement of the spiritual life of union members, civil servants and employees.
The contest has 16 performances in the genres of solo, duet, trio, and group singing, revolving around the theme of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland and the country; praising the revolutionary tradition, Spring, the working class and the achievements of the professions, agencies and units to spread love in work and life.
On this occasion, 100 gifts were given to union members, civil servants and employees in difficult circumstances. Each gift included 500,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND.
