Responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, on the morning of May 20, the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation organized a training session on occupational safety and health for 50 trainees.
Participating students are grassroots trade union officials and a network of safety and hygiene workers at enterprises in Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Dong, Quy Nhon Tay, Quy Nhon Nam and Quy Nhon Bac wards.
At the training class, Mr. Le Thanh Sy - Director of Binh Dinh Trade Union Vocational Education Center - said that ensuring labor safety helps businesses minimize damage and costs arising from labor accidents. For workers, a safe working environment will help minimize risks and create a sense of peace of mind in the labor and production process.
Therefore, the Provincial Trade Union always pays attention to propaganda, guidance and training of knowledge and skills in occupational safety and health to raise awareness for Trade Union officials and workers, contributing to preventing labor accidents and occupational diseases.
At the training session, lecturers presented many practical situations and handling methods according to current legal regulations. Through this, students were updated with knowledge, equipped with necessary skills to effectively implement labor safety work and promptly handle situations arising in the working environment.
Through the program, trainees improve their ability to perform occupational safety and health work at enterprises; master legal regulations to apply in practice, contributing to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
