On January 13, the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center organized an online and direct job fair at 3 locations in Ho Chi Minh City. In the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau), dozens of businesses participated, bringing thousands of job positions to workers.
Participating in the festival, a representative of Coretronic Technology Co., Ltd. said that the unit is expanding production, so there is a need to recruit about 500 workers, along with some positions as engineers and office workers with attractive salaries and bonuses. Initially, quite a few potential candidates came to advise and apply for the unit.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Employment Service Center, the labor market in Ho Chi Minh City is recording positive signs at the beginning of 2026 when the demand for labor recruitment is increasing. The festival is organized simultaneously at many locations, in both forms to create favorable conditions for workers to access appropriate job information.
Through this, nearly 70 businesses participated in recruitment at the job fair. In the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City alone, businesses have a need to recruit more than 4,700 workers; concentrated highly in the mechanical, electrical, welding, assembly, machinery operation, garment and restaurant, hotel industries; with salaries ranging from 8 to 25 million VND depending on industry and professional qualifications.
Notably, the festival has flexibly connected recruitment both before, during and after the Lunar New Year, helping workers return to the labor market soon, stabilize jobs and income.
In the context of many businesses accelerating production and expanding operations in 2026, the job fair is expected to be an effective bridge between businesses and workers, contributing to stabilizing the labor market in Ho Chi Minh City.
