Recruitment focuses on the group of professional experts/technicians
According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, businesses in Hanoi focus on recruiting high-quality human resources for positions that require extensive expertise and experience, and are ready to offer attractive incentives to attract and retain talent.
In October 2025, after a period of vibrant socio-economic activities in September, the Hanoi labor market has adjusted and stabilized.
Recruitment demand across the city reached over 50,000 positions. This figure reflects the human resource needs of enterprises to maintain operations and prepare for the production and business plan for the fourth quarter of 2025.
Regarding the structure of industries, recruitment demand in October has changed significantly, reflecting the shift in the economic growth drivers of the capital. The "other activities and services" group accounts for the largest proportion, accounting for 45.7% of total recruitment demand; the "industry, processing and manufacturing" industry accounts for 24.2%; the "construction" industry increased from 6.25% to 15.2%.
At the end of the year, businesses, especially those in the manufacturing and construction industry, regularly recruit seasonal and part-time workers to speed up production progress to serve year-end consumer and export orders.
Changes in the structure of occupations also correspond to shifts in the demand for professional groups. In October, recruitment demand focused on the group of professional specialists/technicians and technical workers/workers (accounting for 20.4% and 31.4% of total recruitment demand respectively) to serve the rapid increase in production and business demand in the last months of the year.
Industry groups recorded increased recruitment demand such as electricity - electronics - refrigeration, construction, mechanics - machinery manufacturing, textiles - footwear. This is a great opportunity for workers to find a job that suits their attractive salary in the last months of the year.
Prioritizing trained workers
In terms of qualifications, the labor market in October witnessed a strong restructuring, showing a clear priority trend for vocational training workers.

The Hanoi Employment Service Center said that the recruitment demand for workers with university degrees still accounts for a high proportion, up to 21.3% of total demand. The change in qualifications also closely corresponds to the shift in the salary structure that businesses have proposed. In which, the salary from 10 - 20 million VND/month remains stable and accounts for a high proportion of 26.8%. Salary levels of 20 million or more account for 1.8% of total recruitment demand, showing that at the end of the year, businesses have little need to recruit high-level human resources and high-level specialists.
This shift strongly affirms the trend of businesses focusing on recruiting high-quality positions, requiring extensive expertise and experience, and being willing to offer attractive treatment to attract and retain talent, instead of massive recruitment in the low-paid labor segment, said Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of Hanoi Employment Service Center.
The business environment of the capital also shows a dynamic picture. In 10 months, over 27,800 new enterprises were established with registered capital increasing by 38% over the same period, showing that the economic picture of the capital has had many bright colors. However, the market also showed strong screening and restructuring when up to 25.5 thousand businesses registered to temporarily suspend operations and 6.3 thousand businesses dissolved, with the disolution rate increasing by 61.7%. This reflects a highly competitive environment, requiring workers to constantly improve their skills to adapt to the continuous shift of the market.
