Accordingly, Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Huy Khanh presented 40 million VND in support to the Trade Union Shelter and a gift to Ms. Cao Thi Hung - a union member of the Thuong Vuc Kindergarten (under the Chuong My District Labor Federation).
The Vice President of the City Labor Federation also congratulated Ms. Hung's family for building a spacious house to stabilize their lives, and at the same time hoped that Ms. Hung would strive to overcome difficulties, maintain her health, and actively participate in school and union activities.
Ms. Cao Thi Hung is a caretaker at Thuong Vuc Kindergarten, with a low income. Her husband is a freelancer with an unstable job. They raised two young children of school age and took care of their elderly mother who was sick and had to be treated regularly. The family's level 4 house is seriously degraded, but due to difficult conditions, it cannot be repaired or rebuilt.
Faced with the union members' difficult circumstances, the school's Trade Union Executive Committee surveyed and requested the higher-level Trade Union to support the construction of a new Trade Union Shelter for Ms. Hung.
In addition to the 40 million VND support from the Hanoi City Labor Federation, the Chuong My District Labor Federation supported 10 million VND; the School's Trade Union supported 2 million VND.
From the above support along with the accumulated and borrowed money, after 5 months of construction, the Trade Union Shelter of Ms. Hung's family was completed, bringing endless joy to the family.
