To meet the increased human resource demand, since the beginning of July, Hanoi Employment Service Center has continuously coordinated with provinces and cities to organize weekly online job fairs. This model has quickly proven effective, becoming a key connection channel between businesses and workers.
On average, each session has the participation of about 100 enterprises from Hanoi and 6 neighboring provinces such as Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Vinh Phuc... bringing tens of thousands of diverse job opportunities.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Employment Service Center - said that this activity is bringing very positive signals.
"Online models help eliminate geographical distance. Workers in Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen or Bac Ninh can connect and interview directly with businesses in Hanoi and vice versa. This helps to make the most of resources, significantly saving travel costs and time for both sides," Mr. Thanh emphasized.
In reality, at the Hanoi Employment Service Center alone, each online transaction session has successfully connected over 100 employees, while helping employees and businesses get used to the form of online interviews - an inevitable trend of the market.
According to the trading sessions, the largest recruitment demand in the third quarter was concentrated in the unskilled labor group and production workers. This is the time when businesses enter the acceleration phase to prepare goods to serve the market at the end of the year, so the demand for workers in industrial parks is very high.
The textile, footwear, and trade - service industries also showed a strong recovery with great recruitment demand. In addition, positions in the fields of finance, construction, and mechanics still maintain stable appeal.
For example, in the most recent trading session, there were over 100 participating enterprises with more than 20,000 recruitment targets, showing the heat and potential of the labor market in the current period.
