On May 31, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Provincial General Hospital to organize a program of medical examination, health consultation and free medicine distribution for union members and workers in the eastern region of the province in 2026.
Attending the program were leaders of the Provincial General Hospital, Dung Quat Economic Zone Management Board and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks, representatives of grassroots trade unions and 340 union members and workers of 4 enterprises in the province.
Union members and workers participating in the program come from Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Company; Gallant Dachan Seafood One Member Limited Liability Company; Thuyen Nguyen Import-Export Trading Co., Ltd. and Quang Ngai Water Supply and Construction Joint Stock Company.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Hien - Vice President of the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation shared that the program is a practical activity in response to Workers' Month 2026, showing the concern of the trade union organization for the health of union members and workers. Thereby contributing to helping workers raise awareness of health care, peace of mind in labor, production and attachment to units and businesses.
At the program, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation presented 10 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances of Gallant Dachan Seafood Co., Ltd.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, doctors and nurses of the Provincial General Hospital conducted general examinations, health consultations, ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, tests and free medicine distribution for union members and workers participating in the program.
This is an activity of humanitarian significance, contributing to caring for the material, spiritual and health life of union members and workers in the province.
