In the online contest "Learning about the law on traffic order and safety" organized by the Hau Giang Provincial Labor Federation in coordination with the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee from May 5 to 25, 2025, Viet Hai Seafood Company Limited - with about 860 workers and laborers - is a bright spot.
This unit has won the collective First Prize, and many workers have won individual First, Second, and Third prizes.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Y - a union member of the company - shared: "I learned about the contest thanks to the company's union. Information is transmitted via bulletin boards, Zalo groups and notified directly to each department. The union also supports us in learning about traffic laws, safe driving skills, and cultural behavior when participating in traffic. Receiving the highest prize of the contest, I am very happy to be equipped with a lot of useful knowledge.

Ms. Nhu Y's thinking is also the common feeling of many workers and laborers in the company. Because, in reality, legal regulations are not easy to grasp for the majority.
Therefore, during the competition, the company's trade union organization proactively designed compact, easy-to-understand content, conveyed via Zalo group to each employee. All regulations and rules of the Organizing Committee and the content of the contest are shared clearly and continuously.
Not only Viet Hai Seafood Company Limited, many grassroots trade unions in other enterprises in the province also implement creative forms to propagate the contest to workers in a complete, accurate and quick way.

According to the Organizing Committee, the contest was held online on the website of the Provincial Labor Federation. Candidates participate using a computer or smartphone, answering 20 multiple-choice questions (each week, a random mix of 60 questions from the bank) and 1 additional question. Each person is allowed to take the exam twice a week, each exam takes 20 minutes.
The results after 3 weeks of implementation show the influence of the contest: there were 3,111 registered contestants with a total of 7,133 entries. Of which, 500 500 people answered all 20 questions correctly, reaching a rate of 17.33%. Compared to the total of 22,178 union members in the province, the participation rate reached 14.03%.
The contest is considered an effective model, contributing to promoting the application of information technology in the propaganda work of trade union organizations in the coming time.
In addition to the online competition, the dissemination of traffic safety laws in Hau Giang is also implemented through direct dissemination sessions.
In the first quarter of 2025, the Provincial Police coordinated to organize nearly 50 propaganda sessions at enterprises and industrial parks in the area. The consistent message of the programs is: each worker should become a traffic safety propagandist in the family and community, contributing to building a civilized and safe society.
Through online competitions and parallel propaganda activities, Hau Giang trade union organization is gradually effectively applying information technology in disseminating laws. Thereby, creating conditions for workers and laborers to access the Party's guidelines and policies, State laws and trade union organizations in a convenient and practical manner.
