On June 20, the Hau Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference of the Executive Committee to expand - summarize trade union activities for the first 6 months of the year, summarize workers' months; Summarize the online contest "finding knowledge of traffic safety laws" among workers in 2025.
The Hau Giang Provincial Federation of Labor said that in the first 6 months of the year, the ideology, mood, employment, income, and life of union members and workers were basically stable, believing in the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; being aware of complying with labor laws, rules and regulations of agencies, units, and enterprises.

According to the Hau Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, the unit coordinated with relevant units to organize the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene in 2025. Immediately after launching, trade unions at the grassroots level and grassroots trade unions will organize launching at agencies and units with many activities.
As a result, 68 units organized the Launching Ceremony. Of which, 11 grassroots trade unions and 57 non-state trade unions have 30 or more employees, reaching 109.62% of the target assigned by the General Confederation of Labor; organized visits and presented 14,977 gifts, worth over 3.6 billion VND to union members in difficulty, those who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, etc.
For the online contest "Learning about traffic safety laws" among workers in the province in 2025, the results showed that 3,497 workers registered to participate with 7,859 contestants. Mobilize union members and workers to actively participate in the online contest "Proud of Vietnam".

Also at the conference, the Hau Giang Provincial Federation of Labor announced the Decisions to dissolve and terminate the activities of the District, Town, City-level Federations of Labor and affiliated trade unions, from June 30, 2025. Specifically, the units that will be dissolved include: Long My Town Labor Federation, Vi Thanh City Labor Federation, Nga Bay City Labor Federation, Vi Thuy District Labor Federation, Phung Hiep District Labor Federation, Long My District Labor Federation, Chau Thanh District Labor Federation, Chau Thanh A District Labor Federation, Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee Trade Union, Hau Giang Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union, Hau Giang Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union.
At the same time, the Hau Giang Provincial Federation of Labor also announced decisions on receiving grassroots unions, affiliated unions and affiliated grassroots unions to the Provincial Federation of Labor, from June 16, 2025.
Concluding the conference, Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Le Cong Khanh emphasized the need to strengthen propaganda work and stabilize the ideology of union members and workers. Proactively grasp and promptly reflect the thoughts, aspirations and recommendations arising from the grassroots to the competent level; resolutely prevent situations of internal disunity and disruption of ideology in the team.

The Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial Federation of Labor stated that he should proactively advise and propose to Party committees, authorities and the General Confederation of Labor plans to reorganize the trade union apparatus in accordance with the practice of provincial mergers; ensure the legitimate rights of full-time trade union cadres, civil servants, public employees and trade unions at all levels before June 30.
In addition, maintain the role of representing, caring for and accompanying workers and laborers in the context of transformation; pay special attention to cases of labor affected by restructuring organizations, apparatus, dissolving, merging enterprises, etc.
