Scientific conference on 75 years of President Ho Chi Minh's work "Mass Mobilization" - Theoretical and practical values for current mass mobilization work organized by the Central Mass Mobilization Commission in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee.
Mr. Mai Van Chinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province and leaders of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics chaired the Workshop.
Also attending were Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and leaders of a number of ministries, branches, provinces and cities.
Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Mai Van Chinh - Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization said that this is a practical activity with important significance to celebrate the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh writing the work "Mass Mobilization", the 94th anniversary of the Party's Mass Mobilization Day, the 25th anniversary of the "Mass Mobilization" Day of the whole country, along with many important events of the Party and the country in 2024.
"Continue to affirm the stature and theoretical and practical value of President Ho Chi Minh's work "Mass Mobilization", thereby gaining an increasingly fuller and deeper understanding of President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts and vision on mass mobilization work for the Vietnamese revolution and the application and promotion of the value of Ho Chi Minh's works and legacies in current mass mobilization work", the Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission emphasized.
Also at the Workshop, more than 50 reports and speeches by leaders of central agencies, scientists, and leaders of the Mass Mobilization Committee of several localities focused on analyzing, explaining, and affirming the significance and importance of President Ho Chi Minh's work "Mass Mobilization" on great national unity; on ethnic work, religious work; on building social classes; and building a socialist rule-of-law state of the people, by the people, and for the people.
75 years ago, on October 15, 1949, President Ho Chi Minh's article "Mass Mobilization" was published in the Truth newspaper under the pen name XYZ. At that time, the resistance war against the French colonialists by our entire Party, army and people followed the long-term resistance policy, with the motto "both resistance and nation building" and was preparing to enter an important stage.
Emphasizing and attaching importance to the close relationship between the Party and the People and mobilizing the People's strength for the resistance war is an extremely important task of the Party during this period.
