On March 22, the grassroots Trade Union of Saitex International Dong Nai Co., Ltd. (Amata Industrial Park, Long Binh Ward, Dong Nai Province) in coordination with the Company's Board of Directors opened the Saitex 2026 Sports Festival with the participation of more than 1,000 athletes representing more than 3,000 union members and employees of the company.
The 2026 Saitex Company Mass Sports Festival takes place from March 22 to April 19 at the Trade Union Gymnasium of Industrial Park (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province) including the following events: Men's - Women's Football (16 teams), Men's Volleyball (8 teams), Men's - Women's Air Volleyball (16 teams), Badminton (60 pairs of athletes), tug-of-war (20 teams), sackdiving (40 pairs of athletes),縄跳び (20 teams) and athletics (100 athletes).
The total value of prizes is estimated to be up to 150 million VND.
According to the company's grassroots Trade Union, the 2026 Saitex Company Physical Education and Sports Festival is an opportunity for union members and employees to exchange and learn, contributing to health training, improving solidarity and attachment. Thereby helping to discover and nurture typical core members to become the core for the physical education and sports movement in the workforce of officials, civil servants, and employees.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Bich Thuy, Standing Vice President of the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, requested the company's grassroots trade union to continue to coordinate with the Company's Board of Directors to promote sports movements to create a useful playground for union members and workers.
