In the late afternoon of December 27, the grassroots Trade Union (CDCS) of A Chau Door Technology Co., Ltd. (Tan Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City) organized a sports festival to create a joyful atmosphere before the New Year 2026.
The sports festival took place right in the company premises with more than 1,300 workers and foreign experts participating in the tug-of-war competition.
This is a sports festival that union members and workers are looking forward to and enthusiastically participating in. The company's grassroots trade union said that the unit has prepared very carefully for the sports festival. Notably, the grassroots trade union has proposed and Mr. Hsieh Mao Shan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asia Door Technology Co., Ltd. agreed to pay a large prize for participating teams. The first-place team will receive a total prize of 48 million VND, and the second-place team will receive a prize worth 23 million VND.
The tournament has 16 participating teams representing departments and production units in the company. The teams participated in exciting competitions under the enthusiastic cheers of their colleagues.
As a result of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize with a prize of 48 million VND to the Material Supply team, and the second prize with a prize of 23 million VND to the Suspension 1 and 2 teams. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 8 consolation prizes, each team was awarded 9.8 million VND.
After participating in the sports festival, the grassroots trade union prepares an outdoor party with roasted chicken, sticky rice, bread, fruits and soft drinks for workers to have a party together.
The sports festival program brought joy to workers after a hard week of work. "Thank you to the grassroots trade union for organizing a very fun contest for workers. After a hard week of work, we have time to play and entertain together. The prize for the first prize team is very large. With this prize, my team will go to a party together and then share this prize with the members. Thank you to the trade union and the company for bringing workers a memorable weekend afternoon" - Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh (worker participating in the tug-of-war competition) shared.
Ms. Le Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the company's grassroots trade union said that sports festivals are one of the activities for the trade union to take care of the spiritual life of workers. Through sports festivals, union members and workers have space and time to play together and strengthen solidarity in the business. In addition, with a very large reward from the company, it also contributes to material encouragement so that workers have more motivation in sports and work.
According to Ms. Le Thi Huong, the grassroots trade union is continuing to propose that the company organize a year-end program before the Lunar New Year for workers. At the program, the total proposed bonus is 1.5 billion VND. On average, each participating worker will be rewarded from 600,000 VND, and 10 lucky workers will be rewarded 15 million VND/person.
