On the morning of June 8, the Trade Union of the Quang Binh Provincial Government Bloc solemnly held a ceremony to honor 201 students who are children of union members, civil servants, public employees, and workers with excellent academic achievements in the 2024-2025 school year.
The program took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere, responding to the Action Month for Children and towards Vietnamese Family Day on June 28. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF), departments, the Association for Promoting Education, press agencies and many parents and students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tu Thi Thu Hanh - Chairwoman of the Provincial Government Trade Union - emphasized: "The children's achievements are the pride of the family and a testament to their efforts to overcome difficulties and their spirit of studiousness. Through this activity, we hope to give them more motivation to continue to strive and mature, becoming useful citizens for society.
Of the total 201 students honored, 10 have won national awards, 50 have won provincial awards and 141 have won district, city and town awards.
In addition to the cash bonus with a total value of nearly 250 million VND, 9 students in difficult circumstances were also awarded scholarships to overcome difficulties, each worth 2 million VND.
The Provincial Association for Promoting Education also awarded certificates of merit to 4 students who won 3 national prizes, recognizing the continuous efforts of the students and their families.
The program is accompanied by sponsors such as BIDV, VietinBank, Vietcombank, and many organizations and individuals who have contributed to spreading the spirit of studiousness and sharing love.
The commendation ceremony is an opportunity to demonstrate the deep concern of the trade union organization for future generations; at the same time, contributing to encouraging cadres, civil servants and workers to work with peace of mind and complete their assigned tasks well.
