On June 24, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor said that with the goal of comprehensively caring for union members and workers, in the first 6 months of 2025, the trade unions at all levels of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province have synchronously and effectively implemented many programs to provide practical and timely care for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Thereby, the union has coordinated with the government and businesses to visit and support more than 188,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total budget of more than 87.5 billion VND.
Of which, trade unions at all levels have supported and presented gifts to 160,387 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of 79.7 billion VND through activities such as "Union Bus", "Union Train", "Union Flight"; programs "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", Union Tet Market", "Zero-VND Booth"...
At the same time, support the construction and repair of 11 Trade Union Shelters with a total amount of 375 million VND; organize visits and encouragement for those in difficult circumstances, serious illnesses, work accidents... and especially organize meaningful activities during Workers' Month 2025.
According to the Provincial Federation of Labor, timely sharing actions and meaningful gifts not only help workers overcome incidents, diseases, and difficulties in life but also add confidence and determination to help them stay long-term with work and the trade union organization.
