On June 23, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - Mr. Hoang Lien - said that in the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province have organized many practical activities, focusing on the grassroots, taking care of the lives of union members and workers.
The union visited and presented gifts to more than 40,000 union members and workers with a total amount of over 19 billion VND.
All union members with difficult circumstances, occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and serious illnesses are given timely attention and support.
On the occasion of Lunar New Year and Workers' Month, trade unions at all levels simultaneously presented gifts to union members in difficult circumstances.
Many cultural and sports activities and "Workers' Day" are organized to create a joyful and cohesive atmosphere for workers.
At the provincial level, the Provincial Federation of Labor has presented bus tickets to 37 union members to return home for Tet and return to work; presented 2 "Union Shelter" houses (VND 50 million/house); and resolved for 699 union members to borrow nearly VND 12 billion from the Union Capital Support Fund.
Mr. Tran Duc Hai - Director of the Provincial Labor Culture House - said that the unit has coordinated with partners to go to the enterprise to examine, consult and distribute free medicine to hundreds of workers.
In addition, coordinate the organization of sports tournaments to attract thousands of union members to participate. At the Provincial Labor Culture House, 29 cultural and sports clubs operate regularly.
Of which, more than 1,000 union members and people come to the meeting every day. During the summer, holidays, and Tet, this number increases to 1,500 - 2,000 people/day.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Trang - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Kanaan Bao Loc Company Limited - said that the company currently has nearly 1,400 employees.
During the Lunar New Year, the union and the board of directors gave gifts to all employees, each portion including necessities worth VND500,000.
In particular, the union also coordinated with the company to visit union members in difficulty and organize regular rewards and gifts at the end of each quarter for all employees.
