Accordingly, from 7 pm, city-level inspection teams, including: Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Mobile Police Department, Administrative Management Police Department for Social Order, City Police Hospital, Police of wards and communes and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level with 600 officers and soldiers organized inspections and tests of drug substances in the body for workers concentrated in the area of 3 communes Lai Khe, Mao Dien, Cam Giang with many workers renting rooms.
Police of the remaining wards, communes, and special zones also established commune-level inspection teams to inspect and test drug substances in the body for workers in boarding houses and shacks for workers in the managed area.
As a result, the total number of workers in Hai Phong City who were inspected and tested for drug substances in their bodies was 10,032 cases, detecting 15 cases positive for drugs. In which, the police force inspected 4,869 people in 3 communes Mao Dien, Lai Khe, Cam Giang, detecting 8 cases positive for drugs.
During the inspection, the police force combined propaganda and education on drug prevention and control, especially propaganda on the Project "building Hai Phong into a drug-free city"; reminding and requesting accommodation establishment owners to sign commitments not to violate the law in general, and drug laws in particular.
