Attending the summary of 15 years of implementing Resolution 6b/NQ-BCH; Commending typical examples in the emulation movement "Good at work - Good at home"; Awarding cultural and sports thematic awards in 2025 were Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) Thai Thu Xuong; representatives of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee, Hanoi Women's Union, Hanoi Farmers' Association.
Resolution 6b/NQ-BCH issued by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour in 2011 clearly defined the role of mobilizing female workers, civil servants, and laborers in the period of accelerating industrialization, modernization and international integration. After 15 years of implementation, with the leadership attention of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Hanoi City Party Committee and the coordination of all levels and sectors, the implementation of the Resolution in the Capital has achieved many important, comprehensive and substantive results.
Trade union levels have proactively integrated the implementation of Resolutions of patriotic emulation movements, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; movements "Good Labor - Creative Labor", "Good Capital Workers", building female cadres, union members, and workers and employees of the Capital "Loyal - Creative - Skilled - Elegant". Over the past 15 years, more than 51,000 "Good Workers" and nearly 20,000 initiatives have been honored, making important contributions to the socio-economic development of the City.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation, the movement not only affirms the role of female union members, CNVCLĐ but also aims to build families according to the criteria "Prosperity, warmth, equality, progress, happiness". More than 524,000 typical CNVCLĐ families have been commended at all levels; every year, the Hanoi Labor Federation commends 100 typical CNVCLĐ families of the Capital, thereby spreading good values about family culture, social responsibility of Capital workers...
Speaking at the Conference, Standing Vice President of the VGCL Thai Thu Xuong acknowledged that propaganda and dissemination work has been implemented methodically, with focus and key points; the scale and scope of access are increasingly expanded, contributing to raising awareness of officials, union members, and workers about women's work and gender equality. Activities to care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of female workers have many clear changes, reflected in the high rate of collective labor agreements with contents that are more beneficial to female workers, thereby affirming the representative and caring role of the Trade Union organization.
Models and activities towards grassroots levels are being implemented with attention, gradually going deeper, meeting the practical needs of union members and workers, especially female workers. The work of training, fostering, and developing female human resources is focused on, creating conditions for women to improve their qualifications, gradually affirm their roles in all fields of work and participate in management and leadership.
To continue to promote effectiveness in the coming period, the Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour requested the Capital Trade Union levels to focus on a number of key tasks. In which, continue to effectively implement the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour's resolutions on family, children, women and gender equality; and at the same time raise awareness of trade union levels, officials, union members, and workers about the position and role of women in the new era. Identify women's work as an important task of the Trade Union Executive Committee of each level, thereby focusing on consolidating and strengthening the organization and team of women's officials who are brave and dedicated, meeting the requirement of "proper advice and correct direction".
In addition, it is necessary to improve the quality of emulation movements associated with the requirements of the digital age; continue to innovate the content and criteria of movements such as "Good at state affairs, good at housework", "Culture - Sports" suitable for each industry block, especially the FDI enterprise and direct production sector. Encourage female union members to actively study, master technology, promote initiatives, technical innovations; promote cultural and sports activities, build the image of women in the new era of the Capital: intelligence, confidence, bravery, and responsibility....
On this occasion, the VGCL awarded commendations to 2 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework" in 2025; 4 collectives and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in the "Culture and sports" movement in 2025. Hanoi City Labor Federation awarded commendations to 5 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the "Culture and sports" movement in 2025; 4 collectives and 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework" in 2025. Hanoi City Labor Federation also awarded Certificates of Merit to 500 Female CNVCLĐ commended in the emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework" in 2025.
