Ms. Pi Nang Thi Kich, a worker at Innoflow NT Co., Ltd., is one of the workers in difficult circumstances who are supported during Workers' Month. Every day, she has to go to work early in the morning, travel long distances and raise two young children alone.
The 1 million VND support from the union, although not large, is of special significance to her. This is the first time she has received direct support from the Trade Union organization and spent the entire amount to take care of her children.
According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, in the Workers' Month and Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, trade union levels have implemented many care activities with a total budget of more than 4.43 billion VND. During the peak period, trade union levels presented 4,158 gifts to union members and workers. In addition, the Khanh Hoa Trade Union Charity Fund supported the construction and repair of 6 houses for union members in difficult circumstances with a total budget of 295 million VND.
One of the highlights of this year's Workers' Month is the "Trade Union Meal" program widely implemented at businesses in the province.
At Canh Dong Viet Food Joint Stock Company, nearly 500 union members and workers attended a special meal organized by the grassroots trade union in coordination with the enterprise.
Mr. Tran Hanh - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Canh Dong Viet Food Joint Stock Company - said that each meal is worth 60,000 VND, significantly higher than daily meals. Not only improving the quality of meals, the program also creates opportunities for workers to meet and share their thoughts and aspirations with business leaders and trade union organizations...
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation also presented 20 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members in difficult circumstances working at enterprises.
According to statistics, the whole province has 467 grassroots trade unions organizing Trade Union Meals with 28,236 meals, with a total budget of more than 676 million VND. Through the program, trade union levels also awarded 180 additional gifts to union members in difficult circumstances with a total value of 180 million VND.
