On May 20, news from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Nha Trang ward said that it had just coordinated with the Fatherland Front Work Boards in residential groups to organize many practical social security activities, caring for near-poor households and people in difficult circumstances in the area.
These activities are in response to the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026),
In addition to hanging banners and slogans to promote the anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the Fatherland Front Working Committees have actively mobilized philanthropists to accompany and support people.
Specifically, the Fatherland Front Working Committee of Residential Group 2 Truong Hai mobilized and presented 35 gifts to difficult households, each worth 1 million VND in cash.
Front Work Committee 2 Phuoc Trung presented 9 health insurance cards to households in difficult circumstances with a total value of more than 11 million VND.
Meanwhile, Front Work Committee 2 Phuoc Thanh mobilized philanthropists to present 40 gifts to poor households and lonely people with a total budget of 8 million VND.
Notably, on the morning of May 19, the Ward Veterans Association organized a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the "Veteran Affection" House for the near-poor household of Ms. Pham Thi Hoan.
To support the construction of the house, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward has allocated 30 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund. The Front Work Committee of Group 2 Phuoc Thanh mobilized an additional 20 million VND. In addition, philanthropists continued to contribute more than 120 million VND to help the family soon stabilize their lives.
Social security activities on this occasion contribute to spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual affection in the community, and at the same time show the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style with specific and practical actions.
