On the afternoon of June 22, a preliminary conference on the Front's work of the emulation cluster of southern provinces and cities in the first 6 months of 2026 took place in Dong Nai City.
As a result of the Front's work in the first 6 months of 2026, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of provinces and cities in the Southern Emulation Cluster (including Dong Nai city and Vinh Long, Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, An Giang, Ca Mau provinces) has proactively concretized the Party's guidelines and resolutions, and the State's policies and laws...
Localities in the Cluster have proactively coordinated to organize many rich, diverse, and prominent forms of propaganda such as Dong Thap, Vinh Long, and Tay Ninh.
Many localities have maintained the effectiveness of dialogue and contact models between the government and the people. Prominent are the models "People reflect - Front listens - government resolves", "Morning with the People", "Morning Coffee with the Government", the QR code system receiving feedback and surveying online public opinion of Dong Nai; people's forums participating in contributing opinions to build the Party and build the government of Dong Thap; models of grasping public opinion in cyberspace of Ca Mau and Tay Ninh with the model of the Fatherland Front Committee of communes applying digital transformation in grasping people's opinions and resolving petitions in residential areas.
The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" continues to be widely and practically implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities in the Cluster, associated with the movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment, for a green, clean, and beautiful Vietnam", the movement "Skillful mass mobilization" and building united, safe, prosperous and happy residential areas.
Notably, Dong Nai takes the model "United, safe, prosperous, and happy residential area" as the core, associated with the models "Peaceful and happy religious hamlet", "Peaceful and orderly parish and congregation"; launching a special 500-day and night emulation campaign "Solidarity - Discipline - Efficiency - Breakthrough";
Promote the mobilization of the "For the Poor" Fund, mobilize resources to implement social security work
The work of mobilizing the "For the Poor" Fund, taking care of Tet, helping the poor, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances and ensuring social security continues to be concerned and implemented practically and effectively by localities in the Cluster, showing the spirit of "leaving no one behind".
In the first 6 months of the year, the entire Cluster mobilized and awarded over 1 million gifts, support packages, and scholarships to poor households, near-poor households, policy families, workers, workers in difficult circumstances, poor students and vulnerable groups; mobilized and allocated resources to care for Tet, social security, relief, and support for the poor and policy families with a total value of over 700 billion VND; supported funding for the construction and repair of over 3,816 Great Solidarity houses, houses for the poor and households in difficulty.
In the last 6 months of 2026, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of provinces and cities in the Cluster will continue to strengthen coordination and unified action between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations in deploying campaigns and patriotic emulation movements; Promote the mobilization of the "For the Poor" Fund, mobilize resources to implement social security work; care for the poor and people in difficult circumstances; proactively participate in relief work, support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, storms, floods, and epidemics. Promote the implementation of the project "Digital Transformation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the period 2025 - 2030, vision to 2035"; promote the effectiveness of the "Digital Front" platform, receiving 24/7 petitions from the people.
Speaking to direct at the conference, Mr. Tran Thang, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, highly appreciated the fact that localities have proactively implemented digital transformation in the Front's activities.
Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thang requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities in the cluster to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Focus on strongly innovating the content and methods of operation in the direction of strengthening grassroots levels, taking residential areas as key areas.
