On the morning of August 4, Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation held a conference to collect opinions on introducing personnel to join the Nha Trang Ward Trade Union Executive Committee.
Nha Trang ward is a locality with many grassroots unions, after implementing the merger and switching to operating under the two-level government model.
Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - said that in order to soon complete the organization of trade union activities at the commune and ward levels, the Provincial Labor Federation has coordinated with the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nha Trang Ward to organize a conference to collect opinions on introducing personnel to appoint the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ward Trade Union.
Accordingly, a cadre to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union, a full-time trade union official will be introduced, and personnel will be introduced to join the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Nha Trang Ward Trade Union.
At the conference, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor also disseminated to delegates relevant documents including: Regulation No. 301-QD/TW dated June 9, 2025 of the Central Party Secretariat on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the provincial and commune levels;
Project No. 15 dated May 23, 2025 of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on reorganizing and streamlining the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State at the provincial and commune levels;
Official dispatch No. 4282 dated June 13, 2025 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the arrangement of the apparatus and personnel work for provincial, commune, ward and special zone trade unions.
After discussion and discussion, Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, Nha Trang Ward Party Committee and Nha Trang Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee unanimously proposed personnel for the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee consisting of 15 people.
The delegates also approved a number of contents to advise competent authorities to carry out the steps, issue a decision to appoint the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Nha Trang Ward Trade Union in the coming time.
According to the plan, Khanh Hoa Labor Federation will coordinate to organize a conference to collect opinions on introducing personnel appointed to the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee for wards that have established trade unions, to be completed before August 10.
For communes that have not yet established a commune trade union organization, conferences will be held at grassroots trade union clusters in the three areas of Van Ninh, Ninh Phuoc, Cam Lam and Dien Khanh; completed before August 30.
