The grassroots trade union of Dong Phuong Vung Tau Co., Ltd. (Dong Phuong VT Grassroots Trade Union) has just organized the program "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" for children of union members and workers working at factories in Dong Xuyen Industrial Park (Rach Dua ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
Previously, the grassroots Trade Union widely informed the collective of union members and workers to grasp the plan to organize and register their children to participate in the program. Through this, about 700 children were registered by their parents to participate.
In the program, children were given art-shaped balloons, received cakes and candies to participate in breaking the feast, and attractive toy gifts. Children participated in fun games with Uncle Cuoi - Ms. Hang.
The program also had the participation of leaders of the Rach Dua Ward Trade Union, and at the same time organized the presentation of gifts and 10 vouchers to reduce 50% of foreign language tuition fees at a facility for children.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hai - Chairman of Dong Phuong VT Grassroots Trade Union said that the unit has also just organized "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" for about 400 children who are workers working at the factory in Nghia Thanh commune (HCMC).
According to Mr. Hai, organizing recreational activities for children of union members and workers is a practical activity, part of the work of caring for nearly 4,400 union members and workers working at the enterprise.
The program not only creates a playground for children but also helps parents have more joy and peace of mind after working hours. The Trade Union and businesses have also given each worker a box of cakes to celebrate a warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival with their families," Mr. Hai said.
