Caring for life, ensuring the rights of workers
The Trade Union of Vietnam Apatite One Member Limited Liability Company (Lao Cai province) is currently managing 1,924 union members and employees. In the 2023-2025 term, the trade union organization has closely coordinated with professional departments to implement many practical activities to care for the lives and improve welfare for union members.
Accordingly, programs to care for life, organize periodic health check-ups, and support meals for workers are maintained regularly with a total budget of more than 88.7 billion VND.
During the term, nearly 3,960 turns of union members and workers were facilitated to participate in sightseeing and resort trips with a total budget of more than 20.4 billion VND.
The Trade Union also coordinated to implement a program to support loans to improve housing for workers in difficult circumstances. 88 union members were lent capital with a total amount of 6.5 billion VND, contributing to helping many workers' families stabilize their lives.
Other welfare programs such as giving Tet gifts, birthday gifts to union members; giving gifts to children of workers with high academic achievements; supporting the construction of "Chemical Shelter" houses... are also being implemented regularly.
Thanks to that, workers' jobs are always guaranteed to be stable, with an average income of about 17.7 million VND/person/month. Trade unions and professionals also maintain periodic dialogues, promoting democracy at the grassroots level. 100% of units in the company organize annual Employee Conferences, creating a forum for workers to express their thoughts, aspirations and participate in business building.
Emulation movement, initiatives to improve production efficiency
Along with caring for the lives of union members, the Trade Union of Vietnam Apatite One Member Limited Liability Company also promotes creative labor emulation movements, contributing to improving the production and business efficiency of enterprises.
The "Good Labor - Creative Labor" movement is widely implemented throughout the company. During the term, trade union levels have undertaken and organized the implementation of 16 projects and tasks with a total value of more than 1.8 billion VND.
From the emulation movement, many initiatives and technical solutions have been researched and applied to production practice by union members and workers. 106 initiatives have been recognized, bringing benefits of more than 1.6 billion VND to businesses.
In parallel with production activities, the cultural and sports movement is also concerned by the Trade Union. Dozens of sports competitions are deployed throughout the company, attracting more than 1,295 athletes to participate.
During the term, union members, workers and affiliated grassroots trade unions contributed more than 17 billion VND to social security activities, supporting people affected by natural disasters, building houses and participating in removing temporary houses in the locality.
According to Mr. Dang Hong Phong - Chairman of the Trade Union of Apatite Vietnam Co., Ltd., the company's trade union will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, promote emulation movements for good labor and creative labor; strengthen care for the lives and protect the legitimate rights of workers; and at the same time build an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
