Young engineer rich in initiatives
New to U40 (born in 1987), Dao Vuong Phu Binh has become a familiar face in patriotic emulation movements launched by the Trade Union organization. Graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in Electronics (Faculty of Technology, Can Tho University), Mr. Binh works at An Giang Cement Factory (An Giang Construction and Installation Company).
With the opportunity, he promoted his creativity, launched many initiatives and improvements... As soon as he entered his 30th year, he and his colleagues researched and manufactured the "Autumn pallet packaging machine 2" with a capacity of over 30 tons/hour. After that, almost every year, there are initiatives and improvements, such as: Replacing the chain lifting against the steel pack racking (2019); jumbo bag finishing machine weighing 500kg - 1,500kg, capacity 30 tons/hour (2020); Initiative to improve and adjust the composition of cement grains on Osepa phank (2021); Self-processing and manufacturing of 6600 volt medium-voltage motor start-up boxes with flexible transformation (2022); Solutions to increase crusher productivity combined with changing the grinding process (2023); Work arrangement, improving the production process (2024)...
According to the assessment of the factory's leaders, the initiatives and solutions implemented by Binh and his colleagues not only have high creativity but are also very practical. This not only makes the unit's production activities more favorable, but also benefits billions of VND.
A typical example is the initiative to Improve the adjustment of cement hatte composition on Osepa distillation, helping to reduce cement hatte composition greater than 45μm, contributing to an average savings of nearly 1% of clone (the raw material used in cement production). With the cement production output in 2021, nearly 1,850 tons of clone were saved, after deducting other costs, it contributed to saving the factory over 500 million VND/year...
But more importantly, the initiatives and improvements of Binh and his colleagues also practically reduce labor for workers, save shipping costs, repair, reduce electricity consumption... Thereby contributing to protecting workers' health and actively reducing product prices so that the factory can increase product competitiveness in the market.

Not only actively accompanying colleagues in researching the development of many projects and creative work, bringing many practical values in the role of deputy director and then factory manager, over the years, Mr. Binh has also been known as an energetic union official.
Not only is he a good example in complying with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, but he also actively participates in movements launched by the Union and mobilizes union members and workers to participate.
In addition to maintaining the organization of skills, culture, arts, and sports competitions, Mr. Binh also directed workers to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, improve equipment, reduce costs, and focus on key tasks of the factory, such as: Movement "Good workers - Creative workers", "Green, clean, beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"... Especially responding to participate in highly effective programs launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, such as: "75 thousand initiatives overcoming difficulties for development"; "A million initiatives - efforts overcoming difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic"... Thereby contributing to the company's Trade Union to implement 170 initiatives registered on the website of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
With those achievements, Mr. Binh has been awarded the Certificate of "Creative Labor" by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor many times, many certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor... In particular, he was also awarded the certificate of "National Young Meritorious Artist" for the 9th time, the 1st Ton Duc Thang Award of An Giang province, the 4th Nguyen Duc Canh Award and was a Delegate to the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress of Workers.
