On May 29 and 30, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation organized the announcement of decisions to establish grassroots trade unions at a number of units, businesses and educational institutions in the area.
At Quoc Viet Economic - Technical Secondary School, the grassroots Trade Union officially belongs to the Provincial Labor Federation from May 19, 2026. Accordingly, 36 workers currently working at the school were admitted to the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that the establishment of grassroots trade unions is of great significance in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations at the unit.
The Provincial Labor Federation proposed that the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union soon develop operating regulations, promote the representative role of the trade union organization, promote emulation movements and accompany the school in training and human resource development.
On the same day, the Provincial Labor Federation also announced the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Dak Mil Bazal Stone Trading and Production Co., Ltd. with 9 union members; and at the same time appointed the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee and trade union titles of the company.
According to the decision, the grassroots Trade Union of Dak Mil Bazal Stone Production and Trading Co., Ltd. is directly under the Provincial Labor Federation from May 27, 2026.
The Provincial Labor Federation requested the Executive Committee of the company's grassroots Trade Union to quickly stabilize the organization, build operating regulations; promote the role of representing and accompanying workers and businesses.
At the same time, continue to promote labor and production emulation movements, contributing to improving the efficiency of production and business activities.
On the morning of May 30, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation continued to announce the decision to establish a grassroots Trade Union of Dak Nong Vocational Education Center and admit 23 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
The establishment of new grassroots trade unions contributes to expanding trade union organizations in the non-state sector, strengthening the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers in Lam Dong province.
