Lam Dong - The Provincial People's Council has just passed a resolution to support a maximum of 70 million VND for each cadre working away from home after the merger of provinces.

The Resolution was approved at the second session of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021 - 2026, held on the afternoon of July 16.

This Resolution takes effect from July 16 and the support policy will be applied from July 1, 2025.

The subjects of this policy are cadres, civil servants, and people working under contracts in agencies and organizations of the Party, State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and public service units of Dak Nong and Binh Thuan provinces (old).

Specifically, those who are supported must move to work at the administrative center of the new Lam Dong province. Eligible people will receive one-time support at the time of receiving the job, with the amount of 10 million VND.

At the same time, each person will be supported with travel expenses of 2 million VND and accommodation rent of 3 million VND per month, with a maximum period of 12 months.

As for cadres who are eligible for transportation or have been arranged housing, they will not be supported with travel expenses and accommodation rent.

According to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, after the merger, the whole province has about 1,820 people from Dak Nong and Binh Thuan provinces (old) coming to work at the new provincial administrative center.
