On December 14, Nghe An 115 General Hospital held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary, receive the Second Class Labor Medal and inaugurate Nghe An 115 Surgical Hospital.
115 Nghe An General Hospital is the first private medical unit in Nghe An, established in 2001.
In 2024, Nghe An 115 General Hospital examined more than 131,000 patients, treated more than 19,000 inpatients, and performed surgery on nearly 10,000 patients, of which type I and special surgeries accounted for nearly 40%.
With its achievements, in 2013, the Hospital was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister; in 2016, the Hospital was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal and on September 19, 2024, the Hospital was awarded the Second Class Labor Medal.
On this occasion, 115 Hospital Joint Stock Company inaugurated and put into use its second facility, 115 Nghe An Surgical Hospital. The hospital has been assessed and licensed by the Ministry of Health and has been signed a contract by Nghe An Provincial Social Insurance to provide medical examination and treatment for people with health insurance cards from September 2024.
Nghe An 115 Surgical Hospital has a scale of 300 beds, phase 1 puts 180 beds into operation. The hospital has implemented 3,898 specialized technical categories, basic technical expertise classification, and is ranked equivalent to a Grade III Hospital.
Up to now, with the establishment of Nghe An 115 Surgical Hospital, Nghe An is the 4th locality in the country (after Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh Hoa province) in developing the non-public health system.
