According to the Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Lao Dong Newspaper continues to promote the role of a press agency with a long tradition, maintaining its position and prestige in the Vietnamese revolutionary press system.
The newspaper not only performs well the task of propagating Trade Union activities, caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers, but also reflects vividly, objectively, truthfully, and promptly the issues of economic, political, social, defense and security life.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan recalled the direction of General Secretary and President To Lam on the requirement of comprehensive digital transformation, innovating journalistic thinking so that Vietnamese revolutionary journalism does not lag behind and continues to fulfill its mission well.
Over the past time, the Editorial Board of Lao Dong Newspaper has proactively prepared and persistently implemented digital transformation, thereby serving readers better and improving the effectiveness of performing assigned political tasks.

Implementing the requirement to innovate propaganda work, especially for contents related to Trade Union activities and the lives of workers, Lao Dong Newspaper has strengthened in-depth articles, specifically analyzing major policies and orientations.

Immediately after the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor launched the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income", Lao Dong Newspaper organized many articles reflecting the implementation at the grassroots level, discovering and introducing typical collectives and individuals.
Articles on good labor examples, innovation initiatives, movement organization experience and effective models have received the attention of Trade Union officials, union members and workers.

One of the models introduced by the Newspaper is the emulation movement at Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd., with a starting approach from small improvements but bringing practical efficiency. Initiatives in the labor process not only contribute to improving productivity but also create a basis for improving income and working conditions for workers.
