On May 23, An Giang Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the grassroots Trade Union and the Board of Directors of An Giang Water and Electricity Joint Stock Company to organize many meaningful and practical activities to attract a large number of union members and workers to participate in response to Workers' Month 2026.
Activities include the Voluntary Blood Donation Day, giving gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with dangerous diseases, labor accidents, occupational diseases... thereby continuing to spread the spirit of kindness and affection among workers.

From early morning, a large number of union members and workers were present at the company to register to participate in voluntary blood donation. The atmosphere of the festival took place urgently and excitedly with the positive response of officials and workers in many departments.
At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee received 151 units of blood, contributing to supplementing blood sources to serve emergency care and treatment of patients at medical facilities in the province.

Ms. Lam Thuy Van - an employee of the Company shared that she has participated in blood donation many times, but when the activity is organized right at the enterprise, the spirit is even more excited. "Brothers and sisters are very excited to participate, many people come very early to register for blood donation. The atmosphere in the company today is very meaningful and warm," Ms. Van said.
According to Mr. Phan Huu Quoc Viet - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of An Giang Water and Electricity Joint Stock Company, previously whenever the Provincial Labor Federation organized voluntary blood donation, the grassroots trade union only mobilized about 10-20 union members to participate. However, with the desire to spread the noble gesture of union members and workers more widely, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union proactively coordinated to bring voluntary blood donation activities to be organized right at the enterprise.

The Company's Board of Directors always cares and accompanies the Trade Union in social security activities, especially programs with profound humanistic meaning. Organizing at the enterprise helps union members participate more conveniently, thereby the spirit of voluntary blood donation is spreading more strongly throughout the company," Mr. Viet said.
In the coming time, voluntary blood donation activities will continue to be maintained regularly so that more and more union members and workers participate and respond, considering this a meaningful work, showing responsibility to the community.
In particular, in order to encourage the spirit of union members to participate in blood donation, each employee participating in the program is supported by the company with 700,000 VND; of which 500,000 VND is deducted from the Company's Welfare Fund and 200,000 VND from the Trade Union's budget. This practical concern continues to show the care of businesses for employees, and at the same time creates motivation for the movement to develop more and more deeply.
On this occasion, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation presented 13 gifts to union members and workers suffering from dangerous diseases, labor accidents, and occupational diseases, each worth 1 million VND; presented 30 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND (the company's grassroots trade union supported an additional 300,000 VND/gift for these gifts).

In addition, the company's grassroots trade union also presented 11 gifts to union members in particularly difficult circumstances, with serious illnesses, each gift worth 1 million VND to promptly share and encourage workers to overcome difficulties in life.
At the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Tran Nhat Tri - Deputy General Director of An Giang Water and Electricity Joint Stock Company directly presented gifts, visited and encouraged union members in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses. Company leaders expressed their wish that employees continue to maintain their spirit, strive to overcome difficulties, feel secure in their work, and be attached to the business for a long time.
